伍茲動椎間盤突出手術　無緣參加美國名人賽

世界球王伍茲(Tiger Woods)，在美國時間愚人節當天(4月1日)開了球迷一個大玩笑，他在自己的官網上宣布，因為接受腰部椎間盤突出的手術，因此將無法參加今年4月10日開打的美國名人賽，這不但是伍茲生涯第5次缺席4大賽，更是他19年職業生涯以來，首度缺席美國名人賽。
 
伍茲說：「我一直很努力的在準備美國名人賽，但很可惜的是，我始終沒能完成最後的步驟，在我詢問過我的醫生後，我決定先將手術完成，對於主辦單位、志工及球迷們，我感到非常的抱歉，接下來我可能會再缺席幾場比賽，希望在夏季來臨時能重返賽場。」
 
伍茲從1995年首度以業餘身份參加美國名人賽開始，始終沒有缺席過這場每年的首場四大賽，並且在1997、2001、02、05年四度穿上象徵最高榮譽的冠軍綠夾克。(黎建忠／綜合報導)
