今年剛好百年歷史的嘉義市市定古蹟「營林俱樂部」，是檜意森活村日式建築群裡唯一一棟英國都鐸式風格的建物，未來將以常民藝術展為策展主軸，1日起推出「陳澄波複製畫教育巡迴展」打頭陣。

中央斥資整修檜意森活村，委外經營，今年元旦起試營運，營林俱樂部唯一一棟都鐸式建物，是日據時代營林局的休閒會館，興建於1914年，今年正逢100年，台灣光復之後，改為林管處禮堂，民國37年作為忠孝幼稚園。

檜意森活村公司表示，未來營林俱樂部將成為主力展館，走現代、裝置的常民藝術路線，和村內文創商家相互呼應，也與文化局園區的藝文活動展覽相輔相成，吸引更多人潮。
