為提升影像品質 蘋果傳買瑞薩合資事業

日媒報導，蘋果公司正和瑞薩電子展開談判，打算以500億日圓（4.79億美元）左右收購瑞薩旗下設計智慧手機螢幕顯示晶片部門的股份。

日經新聞報導，蘋果鎖定的是Renesas SP Drivers部門，這是瑞薩電子、夏普和力晶半導體的合資企業。瑞薩電子目前持股55%。蘋果預定今夏前完成這項交易。

報導說，取得的新技術將有助蘋果提升手機影像銳利度和電池壽命。蘋果顯然有意把這項核心技術吸收過來，因為影像品質已成為智慧手機的關鍵賣點之一。

夏普持有Renesas SP Drivers 25%的股份。報導指出，如果蘋果有意出價收購這些股份，預料夏普也將同意出售。
