台美TIFA　4月4日召開　力表入TPP意願

經濟部今天宣布，台美第8屆貿易暨投資架構協定（TIFA）4月4日將在美國華府舉行，屆時將由經濟部常務次長卓士昭率團，與美國代理副貿易代表柯特勒（Wendy Cutler）對談。這也是去年3月雙方重啟TIFA協商後，台美經貿高層第2次會面，顯示雙邊經貿往來重返正軌；經濟部指出，雙方除針對經貿議題交換意見，政府也會向美方表達爭取支持台灣加入TPP意願。

第8屆TIFA會議是繼去年3月在台灣舉辦後再度舉行，由卓士昭與柯特勒共同主持會議，美方將有國務院、農業部、商務部、財政部及美國在台協會（AIT）等跨部會經貿官員參加。經濟部相信，在駐美代表處與相關單位通力協助下，將可為雙邊經貿關係注入動能，進一步鞏固台美實質關係。（黃馨儀／台北報導）
