起亞菁英賽結束第一輪競爭，「粉紅豹」Paula Creamer與哥倫比亞選手Mariajo Uribe雙雙以低於標準桿5桿的67桿並列第一，曾雅妮則以71桿並列第三十名。

Creamer從後9洞出發，抓下4隻小鳥，吃下1個柏忌，轉場回前9洞又抓下2隻小鳥，她說領先的關鍵就在於攻勢啟動得早。

「這就是在這個球場的關鍵，啟動得早，越早打下優勢，就越容易，因為果嶺是柔軟的。」她說，希望今天下午比完後，球場人員不會倒太多水下去，這樣一來球場狀況又有所不同。

Creamer自2010年打下美國公開賽冠軍後，直到今年匯豐錦標賽才再度奪冠，並列第一的成績讓她有機會再衝擊一座冠軍。

曾雅妮首輪從第一洞出發，在第五、第六洞連續抓鳥，但後9洞於第十二洞吞下雙柏忌，下一洞抓鳥後一路保Par到最後一洞，以低於標準桿1桿的成績完賽。

龔怡萍這一輪沒有抓下任何小鳥，吞下6個柏忌，打出高於標準桿6桿的78桿成績，暫時並列第一二七名。
