【公庫】為免「混淆人民」 馬國政府不發給《當今大馬》出版許可

馬來西亞獨立媒體「當今大馬」曾在2010年向該國內政部申請出版準證，以出版報紙，不過卻遭到駁回。隨後當今­大馬入稟法庭，要求司法審核內政部的決定，而後高庭和上訴庭都判決當今大馬勝訴。

馬來西亞內政部部長阿末紮希3月27號為政府當局拒絕發出出版準證給《當今大馬》和另一家網絡­媒體《FZ》而辯護。他說，政府是為了避免市場上有「太多」報章，「混淆」人民，所以­才做出這樣的決定，因為《當今大馬》和《FZ.com》喜歡以"煽動和爭議新聞"來吸­引讀者。

阿末紮希是在國會以書面方式回答公正黨雙溪大年國會議員佐哈裏的提問時說，現有市場上­的報章數量，已經足夠應付我國目前的讀者量。（完整影音報導）
