逾千位移民海上遇難義海防隊救援

獲救援的大批移民等待下船。美聯社

義大利海岸防衛隊今天發動大規模救難行動，因為超過1000名移民在義大利拉姆培杜薩島（Lampedusa Island）和利比亞海岸間遭遇困難。

緊急事務官員說，分乘2艘利比亞船隻的約150名移民，業已被救到安全地方。

海岸防衛隊消息人士說，分乘10艘船、多達1300位的移民，可能需要救助。

數艘在相關海域的貨船，正在協助海岸隊防衛隊進行救難工作。
