前英國大臣、保守派國會議員Ken Clarke昨(15)日警告，希臘脫離歐盟區的情勢將無可避免，英國必須準備好別深受其害。

《每日電訊報》報導，Clarke表示，沒有任何跡象顯示希臘可以逃離違約的窘境，希臘未來勢必得退出歐元區。希臘目前的緊急財政援助計畫將於2月底到期，希臘上周四(12日)和歐元區財長的務紓困協商破局，將於今(16)日於布魯塞爾再度研議延展債務的償還時間。

如果無法達成展延協議，希臘高達3200億歐元的債務違約，恐怕將拖垮歐元區經濟。Clarke期望，英國政府有做足準備防範希臘違約後可能對國內金融市場的影響。Clarke看不出其他國家有任何應該為希臘再度承擔債務危機理由，助希臘聘用更多的公務人員、調漲最低薪資。

希臘總理齊普拉斯 (Alexis Tsipras)先前表示，預期協商過程將會相當艱辛，但有信心能夠成功延展債務期限。齊普拉斯只出，雅典需要時間來實施改革，並擺脫過去的不當管理。他承諾，再過六個月，希臘將變成一個完全不同的國家。
