來不及團聚　南韓申請會北韓家人近半去世

據南韓國際廣播電臺報導，在申請與北韓家人見面的南韓人當中，有6萬多人未能同家人重逢，遺憾離開人世。這一數字約占總申請人數的一半。 　　

南韓統一部表示，以8月31日為准，申請參加離散家屬團聚活動的近13萬人當中，有6.3萬人已經去世，占總申請人數的46.5%。據分析，與去年12月進行的調查相比，此次調查顯示申請者中去世人數增加了2520人。仍然在世的人當中，有80%的人是70歲以上的高齡者。 　　

此前，南韓政府曾多次敦促北韓，解決兩韓離散家屬團聚的問題。對此，北韓回應指，南韓如果希望與北韓開展對話，首先要就韓美聯合軍演一事道歉。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
