伊波拉失控　賴比瑞亞恐急增數千病例

世衛表示，他們一名醫生在獅子山治療中心工作期間感染伊波拉，目前情況穩定，稍後將被送離當地。這是繼獅子 山一名傳染病學家後，第二名感染伊波拉的世衛醫護人員。

另外世衛警告，賴比瑞亞未來三周將急增數千宗感染個案。伊波拉已在西非導致近4,000人感染，逾2,000人死亡，當中約一半感染和死亡個案來自賴比瑞亞。世衛指出，賴比瑞亞的計程車由於沒有消毒，成為病毒傳播溫床。

同時美英軍方協助抗疫。美軍將在賴比瑞亞設立臨時醫院，英軍和人道專家則會在獅子山設立醫療中心，接收伊波拉病人。 研究發現，非洲部份地區，存在伊波拉病毒動物傳人風險，此風險地區的範圍較原先認為更廣大，涉及超過2,200萬人。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
