中央氣象局表示，今(17)日在太平洋高壓影響下，各地大多為多雲到晴的天氣，大家最關心的溫度部分，中午前後高溫大約在33至35度之間，北部地區仍有機會出現36度左右的高溫，紫外線指數還是偏高到過量，外出請注意防曬並多補充水分；天氣部分，下雨的型態以午後雷陣雨為主，在西半部平地及山區中午之後都有機會出現局部短暫雷陣雨，提醒大家還是要提防午後雷陣雨帶來的瞬間大雨、雷擊、強陣風及溪水暴漲等現象。

另一方面，中度颱風海鷗已於今天凌晨2時減弱為輕度颱風，中心位於河內附近持續朝西北西方向移動，對臺灣地區天氣沒有影響，但臺灣東南部、恆春半島、西南部沿海及外島仍易有長浪發生，從事海上及海邊活動要注意安全。
