國聯東區戰績領先的國民，今在先發投手羅亞克(Tanner Roark)7局5安打、無失分的領軍下，加上游擊手戴斯蒙(Ian Desmond)6局上敲出左外野2分彈，9局上再跑回第3分，以3比0力克勇士，3年內2度登上國聯東區冠軍，也是今年大聯盟第1支封王的球隊。
