漢光30號演習17日上午在蘇澳與花蓮之間海域進行海上實兵操演，採支隊編組方式，納編各式海、空軍兵力參演，海軍共出動88艘軍艦參演，規模之大，為歷年罕見。

海軍表示，本次操演支隊計納編基隆級艦、成功級艦、康定級艦、劍龍級潛艦、錦江級艦、永字型艦與光華六號快艇及S-70C反潛直升機、P-3C反潛機、F-16、F-5等各式海空軍兵力，結合想定實施備戰出港、反潛、防空作戰演練。

實彈演習將實施深水炸彈施放、5吋砲、76砲、方陣快砲、反潛火箭與干擾彈射擊，充分展現新一代海空戰力與官兵勤訓精練的成果。
