全心選舉 楊秋興簡太郎辭政委

行政院政務委員楊秋興、簡太郎兩人上午聯合舉行記者會，宣布請辭，全心投入高雄市長、屏東縣長選戰，決定以破釜沉舟的心情，希望贏得選戰的勝利。

楊秋興說，他生於高雄、長於高雄，對高雄充滿情感。他認為高雄進年只做表面工作，虛榮而不是繁榮，高雄表面光鮮亮麗，競爭力卻淪為五都之末，他作為高雄子弟情何以堪。高雄的問題在市府領導，所以他決定辭職，全力投入高雄選戰。

簡太郎聲明也感性地說，黃昏的樹影再長也離不開樹根，他的心始終沒有離開家鄉，他希望他人聲中最精彩的一哩路帶回屏東留給屏東人。。他說，屏東縣沒有依法行政怠忽職守造成餿水油風波，讓屏東承擔餿水油故鄉的汙名；屏東好山好水、純樸的地方，卻因為執政者沒有用心造成今日結果。
