阿爾伯塔省卡爾加里2013年9月16日電 /美通社/ -- 陽光油砂有限公司（「本公司」或「陽光」）（「香港聯交所：2012；TSX：SUO」）欣然宣佈，緊接著於二零一三年九月六日獲得阿爾伯塔省政府頒令的批准，本公司已獲得阿爾伯塔省能源監管機構對本公司 Thickwood 項目編號12010的商業化申請的最終批准。Thickwood 項目是本公司第二個每日10,000桶產能的蒸汽輔助重力泄油（SAGD）商業化開發項目批准。根據於二零一二年十二月三十一日生效的獨立評估機構的評估報告，Thickwood 項目使陽光獲批准的 SAGD 商業化生產項目增加至每日20,000桶原油的產能，Thickwood 項目擁有探明和基本探明可採石油儲量約1.63億桶以及最佳估計基本探明可採資源量3.41億桶。本公司相信 Thickwood 項目約足以支持每日70,000桶原油的產能。本公司將繼續通知市場有關 Thickwood 項目的預計開發時間表。
