70D主打的是直逼7D的性能，以及大幅強化過的Live View自動對焦性能，以及觸控式翻轉螢幕等等帶來的便利性。
但是有附加條件，原則上都是要你使用原廠鏡頭，特別是新的STM鏡頭。

當然你為了景深考量買了18-35 1.8的話，那麼可能在錄影啟動LV且使用自動對焦時，跟6D相比吃不到什麼甜頭，因為除了翻轉螢幕加上觸控控制外，這種搭配可能無法享受到70D的LV模式中新對焦系統的便利。

如果你是全時LV手動對焦，對於翻轉螢幕及機身性能差異，沒有太大興趣，又要淺景深至上，那麼從6D入門也不錯
