法醫高大成：用牙齒對比罹難者身分

復興航空GE222班機在澎湖墜機，機身起火燃燒，部分罹難者的大體屍塊四散，增加親屬辨識困難，法醫高大成今天拿出三張全齒X光片與牙齒模型說明指出，每個不同年紀、性別的牙齒排列與缺牙、補牙記錄，利用牙齒協助大體辨識是除了遺物指認、DNA或DNA粒腺體辨識之外，另一種可協助家屬盡快找到罹難親人的快速檢測方法，「除非牙齒遭烈火嚴重毀損，否則通常只要找到罹難者牙科就醫紀錄，對照留存的全口X光片，一天內就可輕易辨識罹難者身分。」
 
高大成說，法醫學中就有專門協助空難鑑定大體的學科叫做「法齒學」，利用幼童與成人不同的牙齒顆數、不同性別與年齡牙齒耗損情況，以及缺牙補牙紀錄，就可輕易辨識身分，這就是歷年重大空難後法醫與牙醫協助罹難者家屬辨認大體的重要依據。（曾雪蒨／台中報導）
