市議員李文正將於6月26日、27日在其服務處舉辦西瓜義賣，以幫助農民關懷弱勢。議長賴美惠獲悉，除特別出席西瓜義賣活動記者會協助促銷，並當場認購60顆西瓜，愛心十足。

市議員李文正與贊助西瓜義賣活動的雄傑實業有限公司董事長林士傑以及華平里長李文江，25日在市議會召開西瓜義賣記者會，呼籲鄉親6月26日、27日到安平路514號李文正服務處購買西瓜，共同幫助農民、關懷弱勢。

雄傑公司董事長林士傑表示，今年西瓜豐收，雨季即將來臨，有採收的壓力，而且社會許多弱勢需要大家的幫助，基於取之於社會、用之於社會，有錢出錢、有力出力，希望此次活動能有拋磚引玉功效。

李文正表示，此次義賣西瓜是有名的「花蓮瓜仔」，味甜多汁，品質保證，在炎熱夏天吃西瓜可消暑又止渴，數量不多，希望大家把握機會。

議長賴美惠也特別出席西瓜義賣活動記者會，除呼籲鄉親踴躍共襄盛舉，還當場先認購60顆西瓜。
