不會絕跡了　原生白鶴蘭可大量繁殖

台灣原生種蘭花白鶴蘭幾乎絕跡，農委會桃園農改場花了10年時間研究，成功建立台灣原生白鶴蘭人工大量繁殖方法，並在桃園縣政府風景管理所支持下，於後慈湖邊種植，如今民眾夏季到後慈湖遊玩，即可看到串串隨風搖曵的白鶴蘭花。
 
農委會桃園農改場副研究員李淑真說，白鶴蘭為台灣原生蘭花物種，早期常見於本島海拔50到1500 公尺的山林，但因低海拔山區被人為開發，野外快要絕跡，民眾想要親眼目睹白鶴蘭的風采，已成一個難題。
 
該農改場研究人員從和白鶴蘭一樣的根節蘭屬約17種中，挑出常見有14種，再找出3種適合平地栽培的花卉。李淑真說，研究人員在選種後，經過組織培養無菌播種方式，在農改場內復育，待白鶴蘭開花後，再移植到後慈湖栽培，約有1000多株，如今可順利開花。 (戴安瑋／台北報導)
