公牛憑藉第四節開始階段一波24：5攻勢，最終在主場以105：80大勝籃網。

諾阿（Joakim Noah）因腳踝傷而休戰，羅斯（Derrick Rose）獲23分4助攻5失誤，吉米-巴特勒（Jimmy Butler）18分5籃板，加索（Pau Gasol）16分16籃板，連續7場砍兩雙。

籃網3連敗。德隆-威廉斯（Deron Williams）17分5助攻，安德森（Alan Anderson）12分。賈奈特（Kevin Garnett）13分7籃板，另有 2次抄截，這讓他的生涯抄截數突破1800個，他也是NBA歷史上唯一至少25000分、10000個籃板、5000個助攻、2000次阻攻、1800次抄截的球員。

客場作戰的籃網進攻欲望十分強烈，內外線聯手打出20：8完美開局。公牛在首節將比分追至20：25。籃網次節一度將領先優勢擴大到10分，但好景不長，鄧利維連續射中2個三分球，羅斯在短短的50秒時間內連砍7分，其中包括對德隆威廉斯身上打出的2+1，一陣亂戰，公牛將比分改寫成49：43，籃網依靠一波8：2攻勢，上半場扳成51平。

公牛攻勢第三節再起，15：1，拉大領先到68：56。籃網眾將士也不示弱，打完三節以68：77落後。

末節，場上形勢突變，籃網進攻突然受阻，公牛趁機打出一波24：5攻勢，以101：73遙遙領先，公牛將主力核心全部換下，比賽進入垃圾時間。
