躲避伊波拉　賴比瑞亞官員拒返國遭革職

賴比瑞亞總統瑟利夫(Ellen Johnson Sirleaf)13日宣佈革職10名政府官員，其中包括2名副部長，表示他們在伊波拉疫情蔓延之際，不理會警告拒絕回國協助，對國家的悲劇麻木不仁並且蔑視當局。伊波拉病毒在賴比瑞亞奪走至少1100條人命。 　　

根據賴比瑞亞總統府聲明，這10名官員包括6名助理部長、2名副部長、2名專門委員，因無故出國，遭立即解職。賴比瑞亞政府8月首次要求他們返國。

據悉，伊波拉疫情迄今在西非疫區造成超過2400人死亡，死亡病例大多出現在賴比瑞亞和鄰國幾內亞及獅子山。世界衛生組織(WHO)提出警告，賴比瑞亞疫情快速擴散，數以千計的人在未來幾周有受到傳染的風險。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
