攀10公尺樹迎新　身障生感動自我超越

雲林縣環球科技大學舉辦新生訓練活動，今年由校長許舒翔帶領觀光系師生、5名身障生及2名蒙古籍國際生共同攀爬環球的生命樹(百年樟樹)，希望給新生截然不同的體驗。

參與學生中最特別的身障生周嘉蓉，她坐著輪椅在樹底下，聚精會神地聆聽教練的安全指示，並勇敢地挑戰自我。

當教練與工作人員藉由繩索把她吊上10公尺高的樹枝上時，她興奮地說是她生命中全新的體驗，過程中感受到大樹的溫柔慈悲，及一股向上提升的力量，讓她對自己有截然不同的看法，她也期待透過她自我超越的行動，帶動同學更積極向上。（寶智華／雲林報導）
