一向被視為問題小子的費城人終結者佩波邦(Jonathan Papelbon)在昨天對馬林魚的比賽中，於9局上4比1領先局面登板，結果連失4分砸鍋，還吞敗戰，退場時遭狂噓，他竟對觀眾做出捉鳥的猥褻動作，今天大聯盟做出懲處，佩波邦被禁賽7場。

原本佩波邦生涯對馬林魚救援18次，沒有失敗過，昨天首度砸鍋，情緒大受影響，退場時順勢對看台做出不雅動作，但這動作沒逃過資深裁判魏斯特(Joe West)的法眼，立馬比手勢將他趕出場，佩波邦不爽，出來對魏斯特叫囂，動作十分激烈。

對於佩波邦的舉動，魏斯特：「他必須更成熟一點。」得知被禁7場後，佩波邦虛心接受，並道歉，但他強調並非有心對挑釁觀眾。(謝岱穎／綜合報導)
