英同性婚姻法生效　同性伴侶合法成婚

英國的同性婚姻法昨天開始正式生效，許多同性伴侶都選擇在這一天舉辦婚禮，倫敦街頭也掛起象徵同性戀權利運動的彩虹旗以示慶祝。英國的同性婚姻法案於去年7月獲得議會通過，使英格蘭和威爾斯地區實現同性婚姻合法化。英格蘭宗教領袖、坎特伯雷大主教韋爾比表示，教會接受議會修改法律的決定，不會再反對同性婚姻。
 
英國首相卡麥隆表示，這一天對英國來說非常具有歷史意義，同性伴侶與異性伴侶一樣享有平等的結婚權利。為了慶祝這一天，英國有多對同性情侶在零點鐘聲敲響之後便宣誓結婚。為了成為英國第一批合法結婚的同性伴侶。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
