加強離島防衛　日佐世保基地將配兩棲軍用車

《日本經濟新聞》報導，日本防衛省為加強離島防衛，將於2018年在長崎縣佐世保市配備兩棲戰鬥車輛，擔綱水陸機動團的主力，佐世保的相浦基地也將成為擔負釣魚台防衛重任的主要基地。

《日本經濟新聞》稱，防衛省的武田良泰副大臣已向佐世保市的市長傳達了配備兩棲戰鬥車輛的消息。相浦基地現在是西部方面普通科連隊（西普連）的駐地，未來也將成為水陸機動團的主力。
 
據稱，目前擁有700名隊員的西普連將增加兩個連隊，未來將成為一支擁有3000名兵力的「準海軍陸戰隊」。除了水陸兩用的兩棲戰鬥車輛外，還將引進可垂直起飛的魚鷹運輸機，成為釣魚台列嶼的防禦和奪島部隊。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
