（中央社洛杉磯29日綜合外電報導）地震學家今天表示，繼美國洛杉磯郊區昨天晚間發生規模5.1地震後，南加州各地已出現超過100次餘震。昨天的5.1地震至少暫時導致約50人撤離家園，但未造成嚴重結構損害。

根據美國地質調查所（USGS），昨天這起地震的震央位於洛杉磯市中心以東約32公里的拉哈布拉市（LaHabra）郊外，迄未傳出人員受傷消息。但距震央約8公里的富勒頓（Fullerton）警方表示，由於地震造成建築物輕微受損，至少50人撤離家園。

警方說，地震造成5棟住宅和20間公寓受損，消防單位正在評估受損程度。富勒頓市內供水幹管破裂，水流到街上，周邊多條街道被迫封閉。

地震來襲將近12小時後，美國地質調查所今天清晨仍持續偵測到餘震。

地震學家表示，昨天晚間9時09分發生的這起地震，有5%機率是更強地震的前兆，但那種可能性隨著時間流逝逐漸減小。(中央社)
