【寶智華／雲林報導】莿桐鄉大美楊桃專區受日前康芮颱風淹水影響，果實雖未落下，但受水傷逾四成，採收後不耐久放，批發價格由每公斤4、50元掉到10元左右，農民爭取補助，政府相關單位卻以落果率來評估，初審未通過補助標準，本月18日複審，結果尚未出爐。

農民們擔心天兔颱風會把尚堪採收的熟果打落，仍加緊採收，不過精算運銷成本後，賺不到錢，只希望能回本。部分果農把楊桃倒地餵雞，無奈的說：「這陣子用楊桃餵雞，餵到連雞都不太想吃了，政府有看到我們的痛嗎?」
