【更新】油漆廠竄火煙　爆炸聲不斷

新竹縣竹東鎮柯湖一路上、專門生產油漆的奎帝化學股份有限公司，今天早上9時許發生火警，消防隊接獲通報，立即前往搶救。警消調查，失火點在該公司倉庫，內部以桶裝儲存甲苯、二甲苯等化學溶劑，今早該廠蔡姓員工倒料時，發現周遭起火，火勢一點燃旋即造成大火，造成一名60歲的蔡姓員工身體有15%的二度灼傷。

消防隊表示，該公司地處狹小巷弄，且因化學溶劑起火，需特殊溶劑滅火，且火勢中午12時仍未撲滅，但情況已受控制。該公司廠區面積約700平方公尺，此次失火的鐵皮屋倉庫大小約為400平方公尺。

聯電消防消防隊長鐘玉慰表示，幸好化學物質是分裝存放在小桶內，而非大容量化學槽，而根據環保局事業廢棄物防治課許翔璽技士表示，火場周遭環境的總揮發性有機物並沒有超標，請附近民眾放心。（陳駱宜宏／新竹報導）
