針對連勝文質疑柯文哲財產一事，民進黨新北市長參選人游錫堃競選總部發言人莊碩漢於今(19)日表示，連勝文和朱立倫根本是「同心同嘴」的好兄弟，兩者都以權貴身分，毫無道理地去批評抹黑白手起家的對手柯文哲和游錫堃。他還揶揄連勝文，「需不需要一杯咖啡幫腦袋提提神？」

莊碩漢指出，連家一直都是公務員身分，卻能坐擁數億資產，先不論其財產來源可疑，現在竟然還有臉攻擊白手起家的柯文哲，就如同朱立倫抹黑游錫堃為權貴一事，毫無道理可言。

莊碩漢批評，朱立倫靠自家和其岳父高家勢力投入政治，為「父酬者聯盟」核心成員，竟然還反說出身農家、白手打拼的游錫堃為「權貴」，實在讓人百思不得其解。他質疑，朱立倫要不要也談談自己「白手起家、不靠家庭」拚事業的過程，來讓新北市民了解他對「權貴」的定義？

莊碩漢也建議，既然羅淑蕾今天要派8名會計師去查清柯文哲財產，也請她順便便履行「社會正義」，查查身為公務員的連家和朱立倫財產來源，來實現台灣人民「對政府的期待」。
