輕度颱風鳳凰暴風圈已經在20日晚間8點接觸恆春半島，持續向北逼近台灣，氣象局預估，若是鳳凰未來移動速度與方向不變，21日清晨颱風中心可能就會登陸高雄、屏東一帶，提醒民眾多加注意。

根據最新氣象資料顯示，鳳凰目前中心在鵝鑾鼻西南方海面，向北北東轉北移動，暴風圈已進入台灣南部及東南部陸地，各地風雨將逐漸增強。陸上警戒範圍包含臺灣各地（含綠島、蘭嶼）及澎湖地區應嚴加戒備並防強風豪雨。

氣象局也發布豪雨特報，受到鳳凰颱風的影響，台灣東南部、南部、東部地區、東北部山區及中部以北山區有局部大豪雨或超大豪雨，東北部及北部地區有豪雨或大豪雨，中部地區有大雨或豪雨，澎湖及馬祖有大雨發生的機率，請注意防範。

氣象局提醒，各地風雨將逐漸增強，室外懸掛物、招牌、圍籬及鷹架等應加強固牢，陽臺之盆景等應妥善放置，排水溝渠應加強清理。山坡地區應嚴防坍方、落石、土石流及山洪爆發，低窪地區慎防淹水、河川慎防溪水暴漲，民眾應避免進入山區及河川活動。各沿海風浪將逐漸增強，請避免前往海邊活動。
