【3/27民主教室】蔡錦堂：台灣如幕府　民不聊生

「台灣現在就像幕府末期，物價上揚、人民失業」，台師大台灣史研究所副教授蔡錦堂痛批政府讓人民生活民不聊生。
 
蔡錦堂表示，幕府政權當時未經天皇同意，就與美國、荷蘭、英國、法國、俄國簽訂《安政條約》，又稱《五國通商條約》，喪權辱國、危害民眾權益；蔡錦堂說人民就是政府的老闆，更應聽取人民意見，不可擅自決定。
 
此外，蔡錦堂又以日本幕末期維新志士「都是40歲以下的年輕人」，鼓勵參加反黑箱服貿學運的學生，他說：「如果大家有看日本時代劇，就知道坂本龍馬、高杉晉作、伊藤博文當時可都是20多歲的人，跟在坐的你們一樣」，蔡錦棠表示，年輕人是國家改革的希望，關心國家發展是所有人的權利與義務。（潘語綺/台北報導）
