國際記協譴責台灣當局　對學生與記者施暴

國際記者協會（International Federation of Journalists，IFJ）25日呼應其分會：台灣記者協會（ATJ）稍早的譴責聲明，對3月23日周日晚間起，警政署受行政院長江宜樺之命，以武力強制驅逐上千名因「反服貿黑箱作業」佔領行政院的學生，還阻擋記者採訪、甚至對記者施暴， 表示同聲譴責。
 
在這篇名為《警察動武驅趕學生，記者被阻擋在外》的聲明中，國際記者協會指出，「這是台灣記者令人深切擔憂的處境。警方以這種方式限制採訪，令人無法接受。對試圖採訪關乎大眾利益事件的記者們，警方極端不當地使用武力。」

國際記者協會認為，「這是一個危險的先例，國際記者協會強烈呼籲台灣當局，未來應允許所有媒體工作者，安全地執行他們的專業任務。」

國際記者協會代表全世界131個國家，超過60萬的記者。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
