澳網會內賽將於13日點燃戰火，盧彥勳第一輪對手是會外賽晉級的選手，而那個人就是連過三關晉級的王宇佐。

盧彥勳與王宇佐是台灣男網史上最傑出的選手，才華洋溢的兩人，在ATP官網的對戰紀錄上，於挑戰賽／未來賽層級打過11次。

這11次交手中，盧彥勳贏了其中7次，最近一次對決是在2013年高雄的海碩男網賽，不過那場王宇佐打完首盤後，就因腰傷退賽。

雙方還是第一次在大滿貫賽上交手，王宇佐官方粉絲團寫著：「會不會太屌了？剛看到籤表第一輪碰到彥勳! 16分之一的機率! 不知是好是壞，但至少有一個可晉級到第二輪！」

其中一位晉級後，有可能遇到來自保加利亞的新生代好手，名列大會第二十二種子的Grigor Dimitrov。
