加拿大授予瑪拉拉榮譽公民

美聯社報導，加拿大政府官員16日透露，政府將在稍晚宣布，授予巴基斯坦少女瑪拉拉「榮譽公民」身分，瑪拉拉2012年提倡女童教育及女權而被神學士暗殺未遂。

瑪拉拉是加拿大授予榮譽公民身分的第六人，其他人包括瑞典外交官瓦倫伯格（Raoul Wallenberg）、南非前總統曼德拉、西藏精神領袖達賴喇嘛、緬甸民主鬥士翁山蘇姬、印度伊斯蘭領袖肯恩（Aga Khan）。
