【陳世河、李陳信得／台中報導】潭美颱風過境帶來驚人雨量，除造成多處道路淹水外，因大甲溪上游雨勢不斷，德基水庫、馬鞍水壩、石岡水壩上午都進行調節性洩洪，滾滾泥水轟隆隆往下由流去，濺起陣陣水霧景象相當壯觀，但水如泥漿也令人擔憂會有限水危機。

豐原給水廠廠長張進興表示，這次原水濁度最高為8000NTU，目前已經降至5000 NTU，廠內設備可以正常運轉，加上鯉魚潭水庫每日支援90萬噸原水，這次颱風過境不會讓大台中地區有限水危機。
