不只遊戲機！NVIDIA傳將推自有品牌平板 搭載Tegra5

日本智慧手機/平板電腦情報部落格rbmen 9日轉述PCMag的報導內容指出，繪圖晶片巨擘NVIDIA正在籌備一款搭載次世代處理器「Tegra 5」的自有品牌平板產品。據報導，該款平板為搭載NVIDIA次世代SoC「Tegra 5」的高階產品，預計將於2014年Q1開賣，且預估NVIDIA會在2014年1月舉行的CES 2014展上正式對外進行發表。

報導指出，「Tegra 5」的繪圖性能凌駕於PS3之上，且擁有和現行SoC不同次元的GPU性能，故即便是像「戰地風雲3(Battlefield 3)」這樣的高階PC遊戲，據傳也可藉由「Tegra 5」的性能讓玩家能透過智慧手機或平板電腦進行遊玩。

NVIDIA已於今年7月開賣搭載「Tegra 4」的自有品牌Android掌上型遊戲主機(console-grade controller)「SHIELD(見附圖，先前名稱為Project SHIELD)」，而市場也傳出NVIDIA正在研發自有品牌平板產品「Tegra Note Premium」。
