前總統陳水扁獲准保外就醫滿20天，根據平面媒體報導，民進黨主席蔡英文今（25）日將南下前往探視，這是陳水扁獲准保外就醫後，蔡英文第一次探視，據了解，陳致中入黨可能成為話題。

陳水扁在5日獲准保外就醫，隔日民進黨秘書長吳釗燮就代表蔡英文表達關心，前往阿扁高雄住處探視；隨後，台南市長賴清德在13日前往探視，並送了阿扁愛吃的碗粿和魚丸湯等；今日蔡英文則是首度南下探視阿扁。

根據媒體報導，陳水扁可能比照先前幾位黨內探視者的做法，再次對蔡英文提起讓陳致中儘速入黨，並代表民進黨參選高雄市前鎮小港區立委一事。
