戴特殊眼鏡　全盲母見兒感動

加拿大安大略省29歲婦女拜茲，11歲就罹患眼疾斯特格氏病（Stargardt disease），中心視力逐漸退化，現在僅剩周邊視野，視力僅0.008，被加國政府認定為全盲。她最近戴上特殊的eSight眼鏡，終於看到剛出生的寶貝兒子長相。

產後還在休養的拜茲感動地說：「我看到兒子的腳和腳趾像我先生，嘴唇像我。我已經愛上他了。」她也期待有這付眼鏡後，能親自念故事書給兒子聽。

eSight結合眼鏡鼻樑上的攝影機和顯示螢幕，把攝影機拍到的影像強化後投射到螢幕上，讓視障者能根據自己需求調整，甚至放大，重新看見眼前的東西，每付要價1.5萬加元（約38萬元台幣）。eSight也在網路發起募款，協助為視障者添購eSight眼鏡，並爭取納入加國健保給付範圍。（陳怡妏／綜合外電報導）
