港警攻擊記者 4家網媒譴責

（中央社台北16日電）香港4家網路媒體今天發出聯合聲明，強烈譴責香港警方在龍和道清場時，暴力對待多名已表明身分的記者，嚴重損害、踐踏新聞自由。

包括獨立媒體（香港）、SocREC社會紀錄協會、本土新聞、United Social Press社媒等4家網路媒體聲明，警方在龍和道清場時，多名記者遭警察拳打腳踢、以警棍毆打，或無預警直接朝臉部噴灑胡椒噴霧。

連署聲明表示，1名SocREC記者、獨立媒體2名記者在採訪龍和道清場時，雖然出示記者證，仍遭警察暴力對待，導致受傷。

聲明說，其中SocREC的攝影記者被持防暴裝備的警察強行拉入警察堆之中拳打腳踢近30秒，記者的眼鏡、頭盔及護目鏡甚至被打飛，2名員警稍後又把記者拖行近30秒，送到押送犯人的巴士上，記者在被拖行時不斷出示記者證，但仍遭警方毆打和罵髒話。

這份聲明指出，監察警方執法是記者採訪的職責之一，根據香港「警察通例」規定，警方必須盡量配合媒體工作，不應妨礙記者的採訪及攝錄工作。

因此，聲明強調，前線記者採訪，不論是網路媒體、電子媒體還是印刷媒體，都是為報導事實給觀眾和讀者，若記者無法在現場採訪及見證，公眾便無法知道社會真相。

聲明說，警方的工作是維護法紀，但如今前線警員卻濫用武力，對待已經表露身分的新聞工作者，阻止採訪、威嚇記者，等同侵害公眾的知情權，如此行徑絕不能容忍，要求警務處長交代事件，嚴懲涉事警員，以保證香港的言論自由不被警權踐踏。1031016
