受邀參加太空之旅　霍金：「樂於死在太空」

著名物理學家史蒂芬霍金(Stephen Hawking)畢生致力於揭開宇宙秘密，通過研究外太空做出許多重大科學發現。霍金近日表示，他希望搭乘英國大亨理查布蘭森(Richard Branson)的太空船進入太空，在自己迷戀的月球、恒星以及行星之間漂浮度過生命最後時刻。 　　

霍金獲邀參加布蘭森的維京銀河(Virgin Galactic)太空之旅，他表示即使因此死在太空中也感到高興，不過他擔心醫生不允許。 　　

現年72歲的霍金在21歲生日剛過時，就被診斷患有運動神經元疾病，儘管需要坐輪椅，通過電腦語音系統與人交流，他突破障礙成為當今世界上最著名的物理學家之一。霍金已經出版3本暢銷書，並獲得諸多榮譽學位和獎盃。他還在電影《辛普森家庭》以及《星際爭霸戰》中本色出演。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
