中信兄弟10日將在澄清湖球場與義大犀牛打2連戰，這兩戰若兄弟能贏，有很大的機會可以拚下半季冠軍，若輸，機會將愈來愈小；10日之戰，寇迪對戰賈西亞。

犀牛下半季戰績23勝19敗暫居第一，但各隊差距不大，兄弟21勝1和21敗，只落後犀牛2場勝差，因此兄弟接下來對犀牛2連戰若能贏球，將會迎頭趕上，但若2戰都輸，勝差將拉大到4場，爭冠機會渺茫。

兄弟10日將由寇迪先發，他本季戰績3勝2敗、防禦率2.39，對犀牛戰績1勝0敗、防禦率2.86，犀牛陣中張建銘、林益全、林瑋恩對寇迪都有不錯的打擊表現。

犀牛10日則由賈西亞先發，他本季戰績9勝7敗、防禦率3.16，對兄弟戰績3勝1敗、防禦率3.11，王勝偉、黃仕豪對賈西亞對戰打擊率都超過3成。

賈西亞目前9勝，在勝投榜的領先群中，他是否有機會拿到勝投王，接下來的比賽都很重要。
