疑路人亂丟菸蒂　老舊空屋付之一炬

我剛看有人邊餵貓邊抽菸！」台北市中山北路二段巷內1間老舊磚造平房，今晚7時無故起火燃燒，附近鄰居發現火光趕緊報警，並紛紛提著水桶前往滅火，不過由於空屋內堆放大量木材，火勢一發不可收拾，居民的幾桶水如杯水車薪般毫無作用，消防隊趕抵現場後隨即接手滅火，經過消防人員兵分兩路，前後門均拉水線進行灌救，火勢在15分鐘之內便已撲滅，所幸並未延燒至其他住家。

里長表示，此間空屋荒廢已久，屋主搬離此地後便無人居住，久而久之裡面便堆滿了大量雜物，還好並無遊民盤據此地借住，今天下午她從此地經過時，看見有居民在現場一邊抽著菸，邊拿著貓食餵養流浪貓，然後晚上便發生火警事件，因此她懷疑是有人亂丟菸蒂所致，不過確切的起火原因仍需消防人員調查後才能確認。（楊忠翰／台北報導）
