2014海峽盃男子籃球錦標賽今天落幕，提前登上王座的天津榮鋼今天硬碰地主璞園，由於勝負已無關排名，因此璞園今天放開來打，上半場最多領先20分，終場以74比58擊敗天津，本屆海峽盃終於開胡，無奈由於前兩天都吞敗仗，最後仍以第4名作收。
 
璞園總教練許晉哲，今天凌晨才抵達台灣，結束帶領中華隊在美國的移地訓練，晚上就到球場看球，他笑說：「我進來的時候是17比7，一下就變成17比10，還擔心是不是我一來球隊就會輸球，好險球隊還是贏球。」（龍柏安／台北報導）
