國民隊「天才小史」史特拉斯堡(Stephen Strasburg)，今天對響尾蛇隊投8局僅失1分，率國民8比1擊敗響尾蛇，也寫下自去年8月後最長的8連勝紀錄。國民隊目前以71勝53敗戰績，登上國聯龍頭寶座。
國民打線在第3局開始爆發，從第1棒史潘(Denard Span)開始連6支安打，加上拉洛奇被(Adam LaRoche)保送上壘，半局內攻陷6分奠定勝基。
史特拉斯堡此役8局只被擊出3支安打，投出.4次三振，第1局被普洛塔(David Peralta)轟出陽春砲後，就沒有再丟失分數，本季至今累計198K，繼續盤踞國聯三振排行榜第一名，已超越自己在2012年最佳的197K紀錄。(姚瑞宸／綜合報導)
