美軍首公開　在索馬利亞秘密部署

美國國防官員承認，自2007年起，美軍在索馬利亞秘密部署軍隊，而不是早前公開聲明所指，在去年10月之前沒有部隊駐紮該國。

國防官員稱，美國在索馬利亞駐有120名軍人，主要為「綠色貝雷帽」特種部隊，他們專門訓練當地軍人和提供意見。

在索馬利亞政府對付與基地組織有聯繫的叛軍伊斯蘭青年黨之際，美國政府希望同索馬利亞政府加強安全關係。 據悉，自1993年美國兩架軍用直升機被擊落，18名美國士兵死於「黑鷹墜落」事件後，美軍開始向索馬利亞派遣軍隊。（國際中心／綜合報導）
