行經路口調冷氣　轎車駕駛撞死機車騎士

一名洪姓男子（21歲）昨晚6時許駕車沿台中市北屯區后庄北路往中清路方向行駛，行經后庄北路240巷口時，不慎撞上前方由黃姓男子（65歲）騎乘的機車，黃男當場被撞飛彈到肇事車輛前擋風玻璃，血流滿地，經送醫急救，仍因顱骨破裂、顱內出血宣告不治。

自稱從事服務業的洪男向警方供稱，當時開車準備去上班，經過肇事路口前方時，低頭往下看調整冷氣，抬起頭來時發現一輛機車停在前方，連忙踩煞車，但好像煞車不靈就直接撞上，當時車速約50至60公里。

警方表示，洪男酒測值零，但該路段速限50公里，肇事車輛車頭明顯凹陷、前擋風玻璃破裂，機車也嚴重受損，研判可能是車速過快，加上低頭調整冷氣未注意車前狀況，明顯有過失，已報請檢察官相驗，並依過失致死罪嫌將洪男移送法辦。（鮮明／台中報導）
