分解萬年垃圾 竹林高中奪科展特優

〔自由時報記者翁聿煌／新北報導〕輕巧保溫防震多功能的保麗龍，是人類生活好幫手，也是環保回收處理的噩夢，新北市竹林高中學生董冠群、莊智宇及藍辰屹，以「化龍三重奏─分解萬年垃圾保麗龍」參加科展，研討用生物分解可能性，獲得高中生物組特優。

董冠群說，三人在顏嘉怡老師指導下，從生活環保概念出發，透過不同實驗方法，讓不易分解的保麗龍，不再成為環保隱憂。

第一部分採用麵包蟲、大麥蟲，從體重、活力和化蛹率看保麗龍對蟲體影響；第二部分添加不同有機物與保麗龍共同掩埋，觀察土壤中微生物分解保麗龍的能量速率；第三部分則使用動物體內微生物混合培養分解保麗龍菌株。比較三種做法的分解效益，詳細的內容加上完整的實驗數據，得到評審肯定。

顏嘉怡說，這項實驗延續前幾屆學生參加科展的主題，培訓過程獲得東吳大學教授李重義指導，並提供研究設備，讓竹林高中學生們確實驗證研究假設。
