統一獅13日在墾丁開訓，領隊蘇泰安以「淬鍊、突破、精進、卓越」勉勵選手，回首2013年球隊選手成績，特別頒贈「淬鍊」、「突破」、「精進」、「卓越」四個獎項，其中分別由羅錦龍、陳俊輝、廖文揚、陳鏞基獲得表揚肯定，由董事長謝志鵬及總經理蘇泰安一同頒贈表揚。

羅錦龍新人球季，展現旅外經驗、虛心學習精神，支持追求進步，繳出單季10勝4敗，防禦率3.64，優異表現，獲頒「淬鍊」獎座。羅錦龍表示：「很高興球團肯定，感謝隊友團隊幫助，才能讓我拿下優異成績，拿下淬鍊獎座肯定後，我要更努力超越自己，拿下四大獎座」

陳俊輝，2005年加盟統一獅，九年職棒生涯，苦練及樂觀面對是他最堅持的精神，用汗水累積成功的果實，去年適時替補先發捕手，繳出亮眼成績，無論出賽數、安打數、全壘打及打擊率，都是生涯新高紀錄，充分詮釋做好準備，等待機會，突破自我，獲頒「突破」獎座。陳俊輝表示：「在這麼樣堅強的團隊，能夠榮獲突破獎項，是球隊的肯定，接下來更沒有任何理由和藉口，就是用最好成績回報球隊和球迷。」
