【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】美國科羅拉多州一名14歲少女日前深夜返家，因攀爬地下室窗戶入屋時被繼父當作竊賊，竟遭開槍擊斃。她的繼父開槍後馬上發現自己鑄下大錯，但為時已晚。

住在附近的鄰居表示，他當晚聽到「碰碰碰」三響。警方說，這名少女主要是胸腹中彈，雖然她的繼父立刻發現是自己的女兒，並趕緊送醫急救，但最後還是回天乏術。目前警方正在調查父親的開槍動機與時機，檢方目前尚未決定是否對他起訴。
