【MLB】1年7193萬　代打高手達蒙揚續留金鶯

金鶯隊在平安夜前夕，和2014年球季代打表現突出的達蒙揚(Delmon Young)達成1年225萬美元(約台幣7193萬元)續約共識，只要體檢通過，達蒙揚就可以和陳偉殷繼續當一年隊友。
達蒙揚在2014季前和金鶯簽下小聯盟合約並春訓，以此搶進大聯盟開季名單，全年出賽83場，繳出打擊率3成02、7全壘打、30打點成績單。並在美聯分區季級賽第2戰，擊出代打3分全壘打，助金鶯後來居上擊敗老虎，晉級美聯冠軍賽。
在克魯茲(Nelson Cruz)改水手，馬卡奇斯(Nick Markakis)改披勇士戰袍，左投手米勒(Andrew Miller)和洋基簽下肥約後，達蒙揚是金鶯2014年季後第1個續約的自由球員。
此外，金鶯也在自由球員市場上撈回被小熊隊釋出的捕手拉方威( Ryan Lavarnway) 。他於2014球季曾在紅襪隊出賽10場，但上場10打數都沒擊出安打，他在3A出賽62場，打擊率2成83。金鶯隊已和外野手貝瑞(Quintin Berry)解約，改登錄拉方威進入40人名單。(姚瑞宸)
